Lumira Events Sdn. Bhd. (“Lumira”, “we”, “us”) operates the website coachlab.help. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
We collect personal data in three ways:
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, plan and deliver events, invoice for our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and keep our website secure. If you are a client, we may contact you afterwards about your event or, occasionally, about our services. We do not send bulk marketing email, and we never sell personal data.
When clients share guest lists, dietary requirements or accessibility needs with us, we act on the client's instructions, use the data solely to deliver the event, share it only with the vendors who need it (for example, the caterer), and delete it within ninety days of the event concluding unless the client instructs otherwise.
We share data only with parties needed to run our business and your event: venues and vendors engaged for your project, our accounting and IT service providers, and authorities where the law requires it. Any vendor receiving personal data from us is bound to use it solely for the engaged purpose.
Enquiry data that does not become a project is deleted within twelve months. Client project files and billing records are kept for seven years to meet Malaysian tax and audit requirements, after which they are destroyed.
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent to further processing. Write to [email protected] or to our registered office and we will respond within twenty-one days.
Data is stored on access-controlled systems, transferred over encrypted connections, and available only to staff who need it for their role. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly and limit what we collect in the first place.
